Work-life balance

e-guma has a centrally located office, just a few minutes’ walk from Zurich’s main railway station. It is very important to us that working at e-guma is compatible with your private life and family. With home office options, flexible working hours (varying depending on the department) and the possibility of working part-time, we offer a working environment that enables our employees to achieve a good balance between their professional and family commitments.

Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)

We are committed to equality for all people. Consequently, we consider gender equality in terms of pay to be a matter of course. e-guma supports diversity, for example by sponsoring the Swiss Diversity Awards. In addition, we have been working with customers from inclusive companies for many years, such as Blinden Kuh, Rüttihubelbad, Bistro Gate 27 and Restaurant Wärchbrogg. In terms of education, e-guma is a partner of the annual #yourethebest award. We also support the Swissalbs Award, which honours special entrepreneurial and social achievements, by providing our ticket system.

Sustainability

Our system enables our customers to drive forward the digitalisation of their businesses and, if desired, to dispense with paper entirely. In this way, our system helps to minimise paper consumption. e-guma also does not use its own company cars. Our employees mainly use public transport for their business appointments or, if this is not possible, Mobility car sharing.

Social impact

Our sophisticated system simplifies the daily work of thousands of employees in a wide variety of businesses and positions. e-guma simplifies complex processes and frees up resources for other tasks. Automation minimises human error and allows employees to focus on customers and guests. The convenient shopping experience for end customers ensures a smooth, secure and fast purchase.

Appreciation and further training

As a medium-sized company, we value each and every employee and their skills. e-guma has many long-standing employees and it is very important to us to retain good employees for as long as possible. With an open corporate culture, we promote internal exchange and, thanks to flat hierarchies, every employee has a voice. e-guma pays fair wages and gives employees a lot of freedom in shaping their daily work routine.

Not only is our system constantly being developed and given new features, but employees should also be able to develop at e-guma and use their skills to advance themselves and our company. e-guma supports employees in job-related further training.

Employee benefits

At e-guma, every employee benefits from a wide range of employee benefits:

  • Two additional weeks of paternity/maternity leave
  • Monthly home office allowance
  • Discounts from various providers such as Brands for Employees, Hotelcard, e-surprise and many more
  • Contribution to public transport subscriptions
  • Employee events and meals
