Deciding on the e-guma product shop<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u00abWe were basically waiting for the shop and there was no question of whether we would use it,\u00bb says Franziska Zurmu\u0308hle, Head of Marketing & Sales. The trusted partner and the simple backend of the e-guma voucher system were decisive advantages for the hotel. However, the focus was primarily on the cross-selling potential. \u00abWe want to sell the products together with our vouchers \u2013 cross-selling is our main goal.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/use><\/svg>e-guma product shop<\/span><\/a>\n\n\n\n

Online sales made easy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Previously, the hotel had only sold products online to a limited extent and in a complicated way. However, with the new product shop from e-guma, the hotel was able to create a user-friendly and visually appealing shop that now includes a wide array of products. The selection ranges from high-quality seasoning salt and orange pepper through fine oils and vinegars, to wine and cigars. The hotel’s own toiletries line with shampoo, soap and body lotion is also available. \u00abIt is important to us that the products are high-quality and beautifully branded. We don’t want cheap gadgets,\u00bb explains Franziska Zurmu\u0308hle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The right steps to get started<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Before the shop went live, the Art Deco Hotel Montana created a detailed factsheet and precisely documented the ordering process. One important point was the internal organisation: \u00abThe challenge lies in an order’s internal process. Who is responsible, who dispatches the goods, etc.? This is now done by our front office team,\u00bb says Franziska Zurmu\u0308hle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Targeted advertising: the product shop as an additional sales driver<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The hotel is relying on several channels to promote the new web shop. Guests are informed about the product shop on the hotel website, in newsletters, via social media and in pre-stay mailings. \u00abWe also advertise on site \u2013 for example, on a tablet in the room and directly at reception,\u00bb states Franziska Zurmu\u0308hle. This makes the product shop easily accessible to guests at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A major advantage of the e-guma product shop is its integration with vouchers and tickets. \u00abWith e-guma, we have a single tool for everything \u2013 vouchers, events and products.
